Sleepy Hollow Lake Celebrates 45th Anniversary on Saturday, July 1 from 10AM to Dark

Athens, NY (June 15, 2017) – Sleepy Hollow Lake (SHL) is marking the 45th anniversary of its founding with carnival-like events on Saturday, July 1 from 10 am to dark that features food and games, entertainment, contests, and fireworks at the community’s Lodge. Open to the public, the event is sponsored by Delaware Engineering, Peckham Industries, Princeton Hydro, and McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams, P.C., and also includes a BBQ fundraiser hosted by the Coxsackie Fire Department.

“The celebration kicks off with a children’s fishing contest and attendees can expect a fun-filled day with many activities ranging from a water slide to a petting zoo; an assortment of everybody’s favorites foods from truck vendors; as well as popular treats including cotton candy, s’mores, ice cream, and popcorn,” said Laurel Wolfe, Association Manager, Sleepy Hollow Lake. “Our 45th anniversary is a milestone for Sleepy Hollow Lake so we went all out to create a memorable event for the community,” said Mann.
